ASICS Brings High-Energy Performance to Bengaluru Ahead of TCS World 10K 2026 with SUPERBLAST™ 3 Launch

ASICS has unveiled its SUPERBLAST 3 running shoe in Bengaluru ahead of the TCS World 10K 2026, alongside its official race-day collection.

ASICS, the official Sports Goods Partner for the TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2026, unveiled the SUPERBLAST™ 3, a new high-performance shoe. Designed to support runners through every stage of their race journey, the launch also featured the official race-day look for the TCS World 10K 2026. The event was headlined by tennis player Rohan Bopanna and squash player Joshna Chinappa, who spoke about training and discipline, echoing ASICS’ ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’ philosophy.

Building on ASICS’ focus on performance innovation, the SUPERBLAST™ 3 introduces FF LEAP™ foam, its lightest and most responsive cushioning to date. Designed to deliver a lighter, bouncier ride, the shoe features a redesigned trampoline pod that enhances rebound and helps conserve energy across longer distances. With a dual-layer cushioning system combining FF LEAP™ and FF BLAST™ PLUS, it offers a balance of plush comfort and responsiveness.

Additionally, the shoe features an engineered woven upper for breathability and an improved eyestay design for midfoot support. Complementing the SUPERBLAST™ 3, the race-day look featured lightweight T-shirts, shorts, tights, sports bras and socks, engineered with ACTIBREEZE™ technology to deliver breathability, moisture management and ease of movement.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajat Khurana, Managing Director, ASICS India and South ASIA, said, “Rooted in our ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’ philosophy, we are focused on enabling runners to move more efficiently, recover better and stay consistent in their journey through innovations like the SUPERBLAST™ 3. Our larger vision is to build an ecosystem that supports runners not just on race day, but across every stage of their running journey.”

Speaking on the occasion, Rohan Bopanna, Indian tennis player, said, “Over the years, I’ve learned that sport is about sustaining yourself through long seasons, rooted in self-belief. Recovery, preparation and taking care of both your body and mind become very important as you grow as an athlete. For me, ASICS reflects that belief through its ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’ philosophy. Running has always been a big part of my training, and it’s great to see the running culture grow, with events like the TCS World 10K bringing this community together.”

Joshna Chinappa, Indian squash player, added, “Training teaches you that progress comes from preparation, routine and showing up every day, even when motivation is low. That balance between mind and body becomes very important over time, which is why I relate to ASICS and its ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’ philosophy. With innovations like the SUPERBLAST™ 3, runners today have access to gear that supports them through training and race day. It’s great to see more people taking up running, and events like the TCS World 10K play an important role in building a strong fitness culture in India.”
