ASICS SportStyle Collaborates with atmos, Launches Special-Makeup Edition

ASICS SportStyle and atmos have collaborated to launch a special makeup edition sneaker “GEL-KAYANO™ 12.1”. This model adopts a design inspired by the traditional craft of "Raden", which is also designated as a Japanese National Treasure.

Raden Art is a decorative technique of using shells and lacquer, which have been introduced to Japan via the Silk Road around the 8th century. The enchanting beauty created by the natural colors and luster of the shells captivates even those unfamiliar with it. This special edition fuses traditional Japanese aesthetics with street culture, embodying the unique creativity of atmos.

The upper of the sneaker, shines depending on the angle and lighting, evoking the image of Raden, while the innersole is designed to express colorful brilliance. The base model, GEL-KAYANO 12.1™ sneaker, inherits iconic design details from the original model, while integrating a modern sole. The upper draws inspiration from European Gothic armor, expressing structural and metallic elements.　The midsole employs the same touring system as the GEL-NIMBUS™ 17 sneaker, featuring dual GEL™ technology inserts and FLUIDRIDE™ cushioning for comfort.

ATMOS X GEL-KAYANO™ 12.1 is launched in color variant Black/Black and will be available at ASICS SportStyle online and in DLF Mall of India, Noida Store for INR 16,999.
