The launch marks Koelnmesse’s latest move to grow its design and interiors portfolio in international markets
Koelnmesse, the German trade fair organiser, is bringing its global workspace innovation platform ORGATEC to India. The first Indian edition, ORGATEC India 2025 a premier exhibition, will be held from November 4–6, 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
The launch marks Koelnmesse’s latest move to grow its design and interiors portfolio in international markets. Through ORGATEC India, the company aims to connect global brands, designers, and corporate decision-makers operating in the workspace solutions business.
“India’s workspace ecosystem is evolving faster than ever, driven by rapid corporate growth, hybrid work cultures, and a rising focus on well-being and sustainability,” said Milind Dixit, Managing Director, Koelnmesse Pvt. Ltd. “ORGATEC India 2025 will play a defining role in this journey by bringing global expertise and Indian innovation together to shape the next era of work.”
More than 100 companies from over 15 countries will participate, including Humanscale, Framery, Haworth, Nilkamal, Godrej Interio, Spacewood, AFC Systems, Talin Modular Office Furniture Systems, Wipro Enterprises, and Digilock. The event will focus on workspace design, furniture, lighting, acoustics, flooring, technology, and facility management.
For Koelnmesse, the India edition extends its series of international expansions across markets such as Tokyo, Guangzhou, and Bogotá. The company is positioning ORGATEC India as a platform that combines trade, design, and industry dialogue in the workspace segment.
“The Indian workspace market is entering a dynamic new phase, shifting from traditional setups to flexible, human-centric environments that enhance wellbeing, collaboration, and acoustic comfort,” said Nagarjun Nagendra Prasad, Area Sales Manager, Framery. “Recognized by EcoVadis among the top 8% of sustainable companies, we look forward to showcasing 15 years of innovation at ORGATEC India and how smart design is shaping future workplaces.”
Haworth India's Managing Director, Manish Khandelwal, stated that Haworth will feature locally manufactured, advanced ergonomic seating, modular and height-adjustable workstations, acoustic innovations, and circular-economy solutions from their Chennai facility.
Alastair Stubbs, Country Director India at Humanscale, added that India’s office design market is shifting toward ergonomics and employee well-being. “Humanscale will present Ergonomics Everywhere, featuring seating, sit-stand desks, monitor arms and accessories, as we expand across India’s business hubs.”
Talin Modular Office Furniture Systems will also use the platform to present its new range. “With growing attention on health, productivity, and design-led comfort, offices are transforming into spaces that inspire both creativity and well-being,” said Ramchandra Jha, Sales Head, and Akshay Anand, Design and Operations Head at Talin.
Koji Higashiguchi, India Investment Manager, Kokuyo Co.,Ltd., highlighted that India is leading a workplace revolution where offices are becoming purposeful ecosystems for well-being, creativity, and shared values. He stated that the future lies in environments that inspire growth and connection, not just furniture.
Satyendra Singh, Regional Sales Manager, PARÉ, said “We will launch wall and ceiling panel systems with innovative finishes and advanced acoustic technology, crafted from lead-free, VOC-free, and recyclable materials to create healthier, sustainable interiors.”
ORGATEC India Conference will bring together leaders from design, IT, and facility management to discuss topics such as AI-driven workspace planning, ESG-aligned design, neurodesign, and biophilic strategies.
Supported leading by industry associations including NASSCOM, MAIT, CRISP, and AESA, the event aims to create an engagement platform connecting manufacturers, designers, and corporate buyers in India’s workspace solutions industry.
The India edition strengthens ORGATEC’s position as part of Koelnmesse’s broader strategy to align with emerging business categories in living, contract, and public spaces.
