The 5th Edition of the FE India Education Summit & Awards 2026 is set to bring together some of the country’s most influential education leaders, policymakers and institutional heads for a day-long dialogue on the future of learning. Hosted by Financial Express at The Lalit, New Delhi, on 27 February 2026, the summit will explore how India can build an inclusive, globally competitive and technology-enabled education ecosystem.
One of the headline sessions is the panel discussion on “India as Global EdHub – Attracting the World”, which will examine what it will take for India to move from being a major exporter of students to a preferred destination for global learners. Leaders from institutions such as NIIT University, BML Munjal University, Great Lakes Institute of Management and NICMAR University will discuss international collaborations, twinning programmes, global campuses and strategies to enhance India’s appeal on quality, research and employability—not just cost.
The summit also looks closely at the classroom of the future. A dedicated fireside chat on “Reimagining Classrooms: AI Meets Pedagogy” will bring together school and higher education leaders to discuss how artificial intelligence, blended learning and data-driven personalisation can reshape teaching and learning. The conversation will focus on practical use cases—adaptive learning platforms, AI tutors, and tech-enabled assessments—that improve learning outcomes rather than adding superficial digital layers.
In keeping with FE’s emphasis on inclusion, a key panel titled “Inclusive Learning for All: From Classrooms to Campuses” will explore how to expand access and improve quality across diverse geographies and learner groups. Speakers from business schools, K-12 school networks and social impact organisations will share models for reaching first-generation learners, bridging urban–rural divides, and ensuring that inclusion spans disability, gender and socio-economic backgrounds.
Skills and employability form another strong pillar of the agenda. The panel on “Skills Surge – Closing the Job Gap” will bring together leaders from universities, management institutes, school networks and medical education to unpack how institutions can embed job-ready skills, deepen industry–academia partnerships and respond to fast-changing labour market needs. The discussion is expected to cover apprenticeships, work-integrated learning, outcome-based curricula and the role of continuous skilling in both K-12 and higher education.
Through the day, thematic conversations on regional languages and multilingual education, the “third space” of community and student housing, and the critical role of teachers as innovators will round out the programme.
The summit will conclude with the FE India Education Awards 2026, recognising institutions and leaders who are pioneering new models of access, quality, innovation and employability. Together, the summit and awards aim to provide a 360-degree view of how India can move decisively from policy intent to on-ground transformation in education.
